As the husband/dad, I don’t get the chance to ‘blog’ very often, but I overheard an interaction between my two girls this morning that I thought I’d share. My wife was on the phone with our cell phone company this morning trying to find out why our bill was ridiculously high last month. I could tell from her side of the conversation that the charges were not going to be reversed, and as the call ended all of that energy was immediately channeled towards a little girl whose favorite toy USED to be her mother’s phone:
“WHO DO YOU KNOW IN HONG KONG?! WHO DID YOU CALL IN HONG KONG EIGHT TIMES LAST MONTH?!”
This is my way to trying to handle the situation with humor—Heaven knows I’m trying—but I think the cell phone is officially in the running for the title of my daughter’s Most Expensive Toy.

don't forget the cell phone she broke!! the phone is definitely the most expensive toy she has!
Bah-hah! Hi-LARIOUS!!! Seriously, it's worth the splurge of a few unneccessary long distance phone calls to have memories/stories like that, am I right? I LOVE it!
