Bundled Baby

Poor Rylee does not know what to do with this cold weather. It went from 80's one week to snow covered mountains this week. I had to go shopping the other day in search of beanies so Rye Rye did not freeze to death. The cute beanie in this picture is from Uncle Jason! Hopefully it warms back up, Rylee and I are not quite ready for the snow. -- K

Uncle Jason

Uncle Jason came in town to visit this weekend to help Matt paint, but he has also taken some time to play with Rylee. Rylee had a great time smiling at Uncle Jason and I think Uncle Jason enjoyed himself too. -- K

Halftime

Since it is freezing here in Utah already, we had to stay inside and play during halftime. She was so cute I thought I would share some pictures with you. If you can't tell she is wearing a turtle neck, it is only 52 degrees right now!

Watching the Game

I left Rylee on the ottoman (something I probably can't do much longer) and went into the kitchen to get some lunch, when I looked over she was staring at the TV watching Notre Dame vs. Michigan. That's our little sports fan! -- K

Not quite what I had in mind

This was Rylee's idea of tummy time today. She was crying and then it got quite and I thought she was just realizing I wasn't going to move her, but no she was sound asleep for 45 minutes. Some pretty lazy tummy time if you ask me! -- k

Happy Baby

Rylee is such a tease, she was all smiles until we got the camera out. As soon as we put the camera in her face she stares at it and the smiles disappear, but we were able to sneak two smiles in for all of you. We tried and tried to get more smile pictures but she wasn't having it. As soon as we put the camera away out came the smiles again, so enjoy these because who knows when she will give us more smile pictures. -- k

Bath Time

I thought I would share with everyone how much Rylee loves her bath. If I could post movie clips you would see her little legs kicking nonstop, she is so fun. She loves water to be splashed on her, if you can't tell the bath is very relaxing for her too. However, exiting the bath is an entirely different story. Today there was more screaming than normal, but generally this picture is a good example of what happens when Rylee has to get out of the bath. What was really funny though was as soon as I got her dressed and picked her up she was sound asleep, she is a funny little girl. It sure is crazy how quickly her mood can change.

Beautiful Girl

Rylee looked so beautiful in her blessing gown on Sunday, she is definitely the best looking in the family.

Lots of Company

We were a bit worried about how many people we could fit in the house, but it all worked out great. Rylee had the chance to play with lots of new people again this weekend. She loved Uncle Thorley and Aunt Lauren and can't wait to come visit them one day. Cousin Alyssa was excited to hold Rylee again, and Cousin Jayden and Rylee met for the first time. Of course both Grandma's and Grandpa's got as much Rylee time as possible, and Double G and Granna made sure they got a good Rylee fix too! It was such a great weekend and we are so thankful and grateful to everyone who came, those who missed it we hope these pictures help you feel as though you were here with us.

Bunny Robe

Rylee got a new present yesterday, and we could not wait to get her in it. This morning after her bath I wrapped her right up in it and she loved it, and she sure does look cute in it too!

Sleeping with Mommy

After shots Rylee and I were both pretty tired, and so we took Tuesday afternoon and caught up on some much needed sleep.

Two Month Appointment

I cannot believe it, but Rylee is two months. She had her two month appointment on Monday and it went great. She is 10 pounds 3 ounces (32 percentile) and 22 1/2 inches (60 percentile), so yes she is growing. She also had her first round of shots, and to say the least she did not enjoy them, but who does enjoy two shots in each leg.

Tummy Time

Rylee has been getting her 10 minutes a day of tummy time, but if you can't tell it is not her favorite thing. We put her in the boppy on Sunday and she got so upset she pushed off with her feet and nearly flipped herself all the way over onto her head.
