Thanksgiving Point Gardens

For the month of August Thanksgiving Point is running $2 Tuesdays, so we took advantage today and invited our friends. When you first walk into the Children's Gardens there is a big Noah's Ark water area to play in. The girls spent over an hour there and then we explored the rest of the gardens. There is a lighthouse you can climb to the top and look out of, there are rocks you can climb up, a giant waterfall, and a lot of other type of climbing areas all throughout the Gardens. The girls had a blast running all over the Amphitheater and playing on the stage at the bottom. Once we got to the Amphitheater we stopped and had a snack and a drink and then the girls played more. From the Amphitheater we headed back to the water area and then home for long naps! We will be going back, but maybe not until the fall when it is a little cooler.

Oh my, how we miss lovely Thanksgiving Point Gardens! Our favorite spot to meet grandma, and she always got us season passes. It's ridiculous how close it is, right? Perfect for rainy or snowy days. Sigh.
