Sick Rylee

So, after Nolan got sick, the entire family including Grandma , got the 12 hour flu like he had. We thought that was all Rylee had, but the next day she started running a fever of 103.5 - 103.8 and we couldn't get it to stay away. It would come down with Advil, but then it would bounce right back up over the course of 4 days. For those days she did not eat, and would hardly drink, and when I weighed her she had lost 2 pounds, that is when I decided it was time to take her in. We had to go to the ER b/c it was Christmas Eve and the Doctor's office and InstaCares were closed. After examination and X-Rays, we came to find out she had Pneumonia. The good news about the hospital was that Home Alone 2 was on TV, so she was no longer mad at me for taking her in! We were sent home with orders to sleep, drink and take her meds. She bounced back pretty quick, after two doses of her medicine, she was feeling better. She was pretty out of it Christmas morning, but made up for it that night by staying up extra late playing babies and having a slumber party with Megan.
