Rylee has been such a good girl today I thought I should share with everyone. While I was cleaning the house she played on her playmat for nearly an hour. She was talking up a storm at all the toys above and kicking and squirming every where, it was too cute. After the playmat we tried out the Bumbo chair for the first time, and she did great. She sat in the chair and looked all around for about 20 minutes and then she was ready for a nap from all her hard playing. She is eight weeks old today and growing too fast! - k

Special Visit
Grandma and Grandpa dropped in for the weekend and while Grandpa helped Uncle Jeff move, Rylee got to spend lots of special time with Grandma. Grandma was a great help for me, allowing me to get my first full night of sleep since Rylee was born...it is amazing what 8 straight hours of sleep does for the body.

Baseball Game
This was not Rylee's first baseball game, but it was the first one she was awake for. She loved being outside and looking around at all the new things to explore. She was so fasinated with everything to see her head did not stop moving almost the entire game, it was like she was watching a ping-pong match!

Hair Salon
Cousin Megan and Rylee had their first visits to the hair salon last week. It might have only been Mom's hair salon, but they sure did look cute. Megan seemed like an old pro at being pampered; she just hung out and let me style her hair. Rylee hasn't started to squirm quite like Megan can at times, so she was easy to work with, too. We thought they looked very cute and we hope that you enjoy them as well! -k.

California
Rylee was a trooper on her first road trip to California. While in California she got to go swimming for the first time, and she loved it. Rylee was also very excited about meeting lots of new family members. She had lots of fun playing with her cousins - Bryson, Trevor and Alyssa - and she cannot wait to play with them again. Her Aunts and Uncles were all very sweet to her, and she let Uncle Jason get some baby-practice by letting him feed her! Rylee also met her great-grandparents. Although she was asleep whenever they were around, she loves them very much. She cannot wait to go to California again, but she hopes it's by airplane! -k.

Answering a family request
my wife and i live so far away from family its ridiculous. this wasn't so much a problem until My Rylee-Girl came along a few weeks ago. so far we've been lucky, in that our new home has seen a constant flow of out-of-town visitors, but as that winds down i feel like the least i can do is bring the little girl to you for a change. -m.
